At the ZMI Foundation we believe that education is the key ingredient in developing the future leaders of tomorrow. Many of our practices focus on ways to teach our students while enhancing confidence in their abilities and assisting in their development of a stronger work ethic.

ZMI Foundation's vision is to offer top quality training and our community. Through our time and tested practice of over 30 years, we aim to enhance the development of our students’ self-confidence, while enabling them to ultimately become role models in their respective communities. With results realized in their training, schoolwork, academic endeavors and citizenship through community involvement, we are promoting our village's mission to Developing Future Leaders!

After School Program
​​Mission
Our After School Program is geared to provide educational support for school age children by assisting them with homework assignments in a space conducive to academic development. The program seeks to develop the child’s ability to focus on the importance of school, schoolwork and the significance of their role in the learning process. Additionally, children are provided with a nutritious snack and a one-hour martial arts class daily. Our recreation activities include Chess, Robotics, Math Games, Piano, Arts and Crafts, Basketball, Board Games and more.

We Operate:
Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Summer Camp Program

Mission
The Summer Camp is designed to provide a safe and educational environment for children during the summer months when they are most vulnerable to misguided behavior due to limited structure of their daily activities.
The camp operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Extended hours are also available with an early drop off time of 7:30 am, and late pick up at 6:00 pm. The focus of the camp program is to create a disciplined environment that fosters character building through Martial Arts, Science and Math Enrichment, Performing Arts, Field Trips, Dance, Swimming, Piano Lessons, Drums and more.

Mission
ZMI Foundation Workshops are aimed at educating parents, instructors, and students on a variety of subjects in order to help them grow as people. As we strive to be one of the most complete programs in Queens, NY, we stand out for our ongoing dedication to individual excellence, social-emotional development, dignity, and leadership via self-empowerment. Our workshops can be taught anywhere from classrooms and auditoriums to virtual settings like Zoom.
