Accountability and Effective

Communication in the Workplace

Accountability is often viewed as a negative concept. When it is viewed as a positive team characteristic which, not only the employees/ teachers/supervisors own but also the managers/administrators/ supervisors endorse, the team works in a cohesive manner to meet the goals of the organization. When communication is effective between the boss and the employee, a relationship of psychological safety and trust is built. The concept of accountability will be explored from a positive perspective. Effective communication will be examined through actual experiences which participants will be asked to share.

Preschool Music (Keiko Kids)

Preschool music classes are both educational and fun for young students who are just beginning their study of music. Our skilled early childhood music educators use age-appropriate activities to increase motor control and inner-hearing, enabling a natural transition to instrument lessons.

On individual keyboards students will learn proper posture, fingering, and solidify musical concepts through playing songs.

Best For: Students Grades 1 - 12

Private Lessons

The interaction between a teacher and a student is very important here at Keiko Studios. Each student's experience begins with speaking to a member of Keiko Studios' skilled registration staff to identify the needs of the student. Does the student respond best to a more structured teacher or one who is more flexible? Is the student interested in classical, jazz, rock, etc.? With each person, we take the time to match up teachers and students based on schedule, learning styles, and preferences.

Group Lessons

Group lessons at Keiko Studios offer an exciting way for children and adults to begin music study. These lessons present material to beginners in an enjoyable and supportive environment, helping students make an easy transition to private study. Our group lessons are small with a maximum of six students, allowing for a lot of individual attention. At Keiko Studios we cater to all students with different learning styles, therefore an assessment is required for placement.
