Newsletter No. 1: Introduction to the ZMI Parent Association (ZPA)

Welcome to the ZMI Parent Association! Our objectives are to partner with staff to provide support and resources to the afterschool program, develop parental leadership, increase involvement on all levels and provide a vehicle for parents to participate in decisions affecting the afterschool program.

Hi, I’m Stacey. My son Aiden and I are new members of the ZMI family having joined just over 4 months ago. I’m excited to be a part of the ZMI Parent Association and honored to do my part in building a bigger, better program for our children.​
Evelyn Drew
Secretary
My name is Evelyn, my daughter Niobe and I just joined the ZMI Foundation in September 2015. I am looking forward to utilizing my knowledge and experience to help the ZPA in supporting our children in every way possible.
Nadean Walker

My name is Nadean Walker. My son Elijah and I are new members of the ZMI family for 6 months now. I also grew up in Saint Albans so PS 36 was my first public school. I’m so excited to be part of the ZPA. It is a blessing to help a child that is in need and build up our community at the same time.
